Getting ready for a backstroke race at a guess. How high is the 'freeboard'?

Responded Jun 25, 2009 12:06PM

I see a couple things. MAN that's going to be a long reach to the block for the backstroke start, and from the slight shrug of the shoulders... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... the water is JUST RIGHT for racing! :)

She's standing on her kickboard doing some underwater surfing!

Responded Jun 25, 2009 02:36PM

looks like she really needed a breath on that turn:)

Jumping into the pool. Was it cool?.

Responded Jun 26, 2009 03:51PM

coach got wet. hahaha.
she splashed him.

That's quite a trick. To be able to surge out of the water, bite into the treat that's balancing on the backstroke bar, and not hit your head on the block. Impressive indeed.

The water is always a bit cold indeed at that pool...brbrbrbrrbbbrrr
